Seeking Playgroup Around Mission

There is a midtown playgroup that meets every Monday, Wed., & Friday at the Westport-Roanoke Community Center from 10-12. They ask $1 per kid to help cover the cost of the building. It's for children age 1-5 and there parents. We go there & Mason loves it.

I just signed on to Mamasource because I have been looking for a playgroup as well. The other ideas that the ladies have left seem great. I am eager to try them out. My son (he's almost 15 months) and I have gone to Wonderscope months ago, he liked it, but would like it even more now. If you find anyone for a group I would love to join as well!

Welcome to Mission. My daughter is too old for your kids but I might mention that the Sylveter Powell Community Center on Martway has an indoor playground times for kids 0-6. You might want to check into that. Also, the park at 53rd and Woodson is a good one. There are usually lots of kids playing there. I have a similar problem here myself, there aren't that many kids in the neighborhoods :( Good Luck!
