Seeking Playgroup - McKinney,TX

My name is K., and I am the coordinator for a local playgroup called Moms' Fellowship. I started it when my oldest (Nathan, now 2 1/2) was your son's age. I, too, wanted fellowship with other mommies and wanted Nathan to be able to interact with other kiddos. Many of the children in the group are his age now. BUT, we also have a second generation of kiddos coming around. My second son, Elijah, is also 5 months. There are 2 other little boys his age and two that are now 9 mos. So, there are about 5 new little boys too! We'd love to have you join us - or at least check us out. We meet weekly, normally on Thurs. or Fri. mornings! We do fun things like picnics in the park, zoo outings, lunches, mall play areas, home playdates, etc. Email me, and I can get you more info: ____@____.com.

There are several good mom's groups in your area. Check out www.meetup.com and pick one or two.

I know if you go to the North Texas Womens soccer association..I think its ntwsa.org you can sign on and they will find a team for you.It is so much fun. I used to be a captain for a team.They will ask you what level you want to play with so you in a right "fit" team.

I am the Membership VP of the SE Allen MOMS CLUB. You need to join one of our many clubs. This is a national non-profit organization geared toward supporting SAHM! If you will go to the website of www.momsclub.org and click on the Chapters and then go to the Texas link, it will guide you to the area you need. Our chapters are set up by boundary guidelines and is set up for moms who reside in close proximity to each other. There are 3 chapters in Allen, about 3 or 4 in McKinney and several 5 or more in the Frisco area. It will all depend on where you live.

You will find Playgroups, lots of activities during the day, MNO, tons of stuff that they do, so give them a buzz and find out all about it!
