I am not sure of the price range for portraits, but the photographer who did our wedding was wonderful!! Bruce Challgren, he is in Minneapolis, by Lake Calhoun. www.photopixels.com is his website. She has a studio in NE Minneapolis but she's always done our pictures either in our home (Maple Grove) or outside. We use Mandy Birdwell, although I'm not sure she is what you want. She does lots of location stuff, but does now have a natural light studio in her home. She's also fairly pricey, but she is located in Blaine and wonderful to work with.

There is actually another Legacy Portrait Studio in Andover, called Legacy Studios. They are in the Clocktower Commons on Hanson. I've used Raquel (of Raquel Strand Photography) three times, now, and she ROCKS! Her photos are beautiful!! (Our family is even on her website. :)) She also has a listing on Mamasource.

I know of a photographer who does amazing work and is really good with children. Her name is Jessica and her website is www.oneswiftclick.com. I believe her studio is in Big Lake (just up Hwy 10), but she does travel for work and would most likely be willing to go where-ever you would like. She could probably do some incredible fall pictures with the leaves just starting to turn! Good luck!

A., My daycare provider goes to Target to get thier photos done. Not all targets have this though. She went to the one in lino lakes. She said they are a reasonable price. I seen the ones they had done of her son at age 1 and age 2. They were really good!!

Have you checked out the Mom Owned Businesses on this website? I sure there is another mom in your area that has a posted photography business. And you will most likely get a deal as most of the posted businesses offer discounts to other moms on the site.
