Seeking Perfume Recommendations - I Am Bored with Mine and My S/O Is Too

I wear Angel my Thierry Muggler (I think) My hubby got it for me for Christmas last year and I get constant compliments on it. The smell of it changes based on your body chemistry. The bottle is also refillable so it is only half the price when you run out. Just bring the bottle in and they refill it. I have only seen it at Macy's and I think Sephora.

I just tried B by boucheron and it was the first time in 10 years I started exploring a new fragrance. It was amazing!! but expensive. Also, a great story. I fixed up two friends of mine on a date and they didn't make a love connection but he called me the next day to find out what perfume she was wearing so that he could buy it for his next girlfriend. It was Amariche. It is beatiful. I hope it is helpful. M.

I wear Dolce and Gabana Light Blue. I love the scent and I constantly have men make comments about it when I wear it. Its kinda strange when that happens, but hey, I'll take a compliment wherever I can get it! :)

I also wear Burberry Brit but D&C Light Blue is the best!

I just bought Pink by Victoris Secret and So Cal from Hollister. Love them both and so does my husband!

I have no idea what Obsession smells like but I love, love, love Ralph Lauren Romance. My husband also likes J-Lo Glo.

In summer I wear - J Lo's Miami Glow
In winter I wear - Georgio Armani's Sensi and Chanel's Chance. I get TONS of compliments when I wear Sensi.

Two of my most recent favorites are Dolce and Gabana's Light Blue. Really nice light sent. The other is Burberry's Summer. This is a really nice one for summer time. Good luck. The ones that usually give me a headache are the ones my husband always seems to like :)

I wear J. Lo Glow also and it's my favorite. I have gotten compliments on it and my husband seems to like it also. It also comes in a shower gel and lotion, so you don't have to mix scents. I've been wearing it for the last couple years. Jessica McClintock has some nice scents also.

I love and have been wearing J. Lo Glow for the past 7 years. Whenever I wear it I always get compliments on it. Also, Miracle by Lancome is a very pretty and not overwhelming fragrance. In other words, the total opposite of Obsession (I agree with you on that one - YUCK!) And another one that I wear off and on is Wonderful. I'm not sure if they still sell it, but my husband got it for me from Kohl's a couple of years ago. I also like the smell of Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker. I don't own it, but whenever anyone wears it I always ask what they are wearing because I just love how it smells. It's on my Christmas list. :-) Hope this helps!

I am not sure what Obsession smells like either, but here are my favs(and my fiances too)-Very Sexy from Victoria's Secret, DKNY Be Delicious(the green one), I like the womens Ralph Lauren-I think it is called polo, but cant remember for sure. Good luck!

Great post! I have been trying to find a perfume that I really like that my husband loves as I am tired of the "old" ones. I thought I would share our old stand-by's though. We really like Pleasures (Estee Lauder), Initial (Boucheron), and Liz Claiborne. Check them out, if you haven't already. Also, Black (Kenneth Cole) is amazing on men. :)

Update: I have also recently tried D&G Light Blue and loved it. Maybe something to try since so many Mom's have recommended it. I second the Miracle fragrance.

I used to wear Obsession a long time ago. After a while I stopped because I thought it was just too strong of a scent for me. My husband got me Vera Wang by Vera Wang a couple of years ago and I've been hooked ever since. I love it as well as he. I also get lots of compliments on it. I also like Sheer Veil by Vera Wang.

I wear Daisy by Marc Jacobs. It's pretty light and floral, so I don't know if your guy would like it as Obsession is a really strong scent, but I get alot of compliments and my guy is a former Obsession for Men wearer who likes Daisy on me.

- try Tendre by Prada.
I just love that one - you can usually get samples to try.

I like it a lot! I also like Daisy, but more for summer months (mentioned in another response).
