Seeking Pediatrician in North Plano/Richardson/Frisco/Allen

My sons goes to Kiddie Docs in Allen. There are 2 female doctors that share the office. Both are great! They are open on Saturday's too! They are the only doctors that I know of that will call you at home later to check on your kids, very rare... They also will see your kids at short notice (I did this a few months ago when my son had a fall and I thought he broke his wrist) I was nearby when it happened and we just went no calls or anything and they saw him in 10 mins....great great, nothing but good things.

I am in total agreeance with Priscilla J. Doctors Alan and Betty Yedwab are WONDERFUL!! They not only remember my children's names and medical histories, but they remember my husband and me, too! They are WONDERFUL people and WONDERFUL Doctors. It is a smaller practice & the staff remembers my children as well. Both my children see Dr. Betty (Beatriz Ruiz-Yedwab) and love her. She is the third pediatrician my daughter has seen because I wasn't happy with the other 2 practices. I completely trust both of them with my children's lives.

My son's doctor is in Richardson off of 190 & Renner. It is only 2 doctors a husband & wife team. But once you are assigned to one that is your doctor. You wouldn't go back & forward between them unless one is out for some reason. It is in the Richardson Regional Medical Center. His name is Alan & her name is Betty Yedwab. My suggestion is Centennial Pediatrics. They are located at Coit Rd. and Hwy 121. My daughters pediatrician is Dr. Nail and we aboslutely love him! She has been seeing him since she was between 2 and 3 months old. Her first pediatrician was at Plano Presbyterian. I can't even remember her name, she was a horrible train wreck and didn't pay one bit of attention to my daughter and her needs. Centennial Pediatrics is a smaller office like you requested, they have three doctors. If you have an emergency, they get you scheduled in right away. The staff is sooooo friendly there, I really can't compliment them enough!

We go to Dr. deVilleneuve at North Dallas Pediatrics and I think he's great. He has a no-nonsense approach and tells things like they are (not the touchy-feely type), but gives really good care. My son is 12 months old, and we've seen him on all but one of our sick visits even though there are several doctors in the practice. They have offices in Frisco (Lebanon & Hillcrest), Plano (near 15th & Coit), and at Med City in Dallas. Their nurses are great on the phone too!

We moved here when our son was 5 months old, and he was recommended to us by friends who have toddlers.

I agree with Becki - Pediatric Specialists of Plano is a wonderful practice. I've never had a problem getting an appointment with them. My daughter's main Dr. is Dr. Berkowitz, but the last 2 times she went in (as last minute appointments), she saw Dr. Sedacca. Both doctors were great.

We use Dr. Berkowitz and Dr. Sedacca and love them! Dr. Sedacca is more gentle but Dr. Berkowitz is also incredibly competent.

Dr. Norman Minsky in Plano is absolutely wonderful! He is the only physician on staff and his wife, Gail is the staff RN. My son absolutely loves them and it is more of a family-type atmosphere. ###-###-####. Good luck!

I really like Dr. Daniel Myint. He is on Custer Rd. in Richardson (close to 75 & Campbell). My 5-year old has seen him since birth. It's just him in the practice. (His wife is in office with him, but she practices Internal Medicine).

He is in the office everyday except Wednesdays, and they have another pediatrician who is there every week on Wednesday. We have seen her a couple of times, and I really like her as well.

My name is B.-I'm a stay at home mom of a 12,10,5,3, and 1 year old! I use Pediatric Specialists of Plano ###-###-####,
I think they have 4 doctors in their office. I use Dr. Charles Goebel-he is absolutely wonderful! As a matter of fact my older 2 have scoliosis and the orthopedic specialist they see is for the entire area(Dr Humenuik) and he uses Dr Goebel for his son. Plus My 10 year old has had a couple ear surgeries-he found another thing in her ear and sent me to our ENT-the ENT said the growth was so small I must have a very good pediatrician to have caught this so small. Okay-sorry I went off on a tangent there!LOL They are located just north of Parker and Midway(just north west of the Presbyterian Hospital of Plano). Hope this helps!

There is a great Pediatrician in Wylie. Her name is Dr. Nicole Lanman. She owns the practice and has one other Dr. on staff. They are AWESOME. Dr. Lanman truly LOVES kids. I go to church with her and she is always teaching classes or working in the nursery. You would think she would get sick of kids, but she really loves them. I am a photographer and have a display in her office and she is very encouraging and fun to work with. If you don't mind going out to Wylie she is a great Pediatrician. I can't say enough good things......

I work for a medium sized office- North Dallas Pediatrics. I have been with them for 13 years as an RN and take all 4 of my kiddos there.
There are 5 MD's and 2 nurse Practitioners. We have our main office on 15th and Coit and 2 small offices- one in Frisco and one in Medical City Dallas. We offer sick visits on Saturday AM's and same day sick appointments Mon-Friday. We also offer free new patient interviews so you can go ina nd ask questions and get a feel for the place. It needs to be a good fit since they are taking care those most important to you!

I really cannot remember the practice name but on McDermott near Alma, actually in the same strip as Pizza Hut. Their is a great little doctors office. 2 doctors share the practice. AND THEY HAVE SATURDAY HOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are great, my kids have outgrown them.

I take my daughter to Dr. Dan Moulton at Presby Allen. He and his P.A. Beth are both great!!

I love Pediatric Place. It's next to Medical Center of Plano. We always have the same Dr. and nurse. The nurse even remembers my daughter by name (she'll say "hi Maddy" if I'm there with our newborn son). They have a sick room and a well room, evening hours (each Dr. has one night shift per week) and Saturday hours for sick kids. Great place all around! Phone number is ###-###-####. Good luck!

We go to Willowbend Pediatrics around Parker/Windhaven and the Tollway. There are 4 doctors. My children see Dr. Frank and Dr. Sickler. I have been please with them for the last 6 1/2 years. The phone number is ###-###-####. They are almost always on time and the offices are new and clean. Dr. Frank is the most experienced followed by Dr. Sickler, etc.

My pedi is at Trinity Pediatrics and his name is Dr Hector Hidalgo and shares his office w/Dr Etel Colberg. His office is off of Parker and Dallas Tollway right off of Communications and Windcom Court.

I have know Dr Hidalgo since I was 14 yrs old, I used to babysit his kiddos. I started to taking my son to him when he was 3 months old when I was visiting here from California and then when I moved here in Dec 1992 and then my 19 month old has gone to him when he was 2 wks old and him and his staff treats us like we are part of the family. I just can not say enough about him, he is such a loving, compassionate Dr and truely loves what he does.
I strongly recommend Dr Hidalgo and would not use any other Dr.

I am also very picky about where I take my son to- I have the most wonderful pediatrician. His name is Dr Ron Blair at Medical City Dallas. I worked for a private medical office there as a pediatric oncology nurse and my doctors had so much respect for him and one actually took his son to him. Dr Blair's office is very organized- a lot of stuff is online and they have a sick room that is separate- that is so nice esp when I take my son for his well check ups during the middle of flu season! It is a practice of 3 doctors and they share call. I am not at home so I don't have their numbers but really like him.

i will second what Kari said...

I see Dr Sickler for my kids...My son has had some unusual presentations of disease and she always finds out what is wrong and gets him better. (i.e. frequent unexplained urination...she examined him, asked questions...and figured out that it was simply an unusual presentation of Strep)

She is thorough.

She cares not only for my son, but checks in on how the WHOLE family is doing and how that might be affecting things. (we have a new baby 2 months old...and she inquires after my son and how he is adjusting etc...)

As the wife of a Dr (for adults)...I see a lot of Drs and I am VERY pleased with Dr Sickler, her conservative methods and her thorough care. Can't say enough about her!
