Seeking Pediatrician for Soon to Be New Born Baby in Chicago

I have a pediatrician that I really like by Old Town/downtown. Dr. Mikhail at the Child and Adolescent Health clinic. I am also a new mom and she took the time to talk to me about every question I had and made me feel more at ease about doing the "right things" for my baby. They are at 1030 N clark St, ###-###-####. Hi V., I live in Lincoln Park but just bought a house in Oak Park. I absolutely LOVE the practice I go to in the city and I will continue to use them until I find a practice as superior as Northwestern Childrens Practice! They are not in Old Town but more Gold Coast but my sis in law due 9-17 is going to go there and said it was convienant. They validate parking at the W hotel which is a block from the practice. I've seen Dr. Weissbluth, Dr Unger and Dr Li, all of which are great! Dr Weissbluth is the author of Heathly Sleep Habits Happy Child and only takes 2-3 insurance companies! Good Luck!

I really like the practice at Northwestern's Sheffield office(sheffield and diversey) Especially Dr. Monroe and Dr. Lyons...though they're all pretty good!

Congratulations on you upcoming delivery. We have an almost two year old and a baby due in November - our pediatric group is town and country pediatrics on Clybourn. Our doctor is Dr. Johnston and we love her but we have seen some of the other MD's there as well and have been happy with all of them. Also, the nurses are really good about responding to phone calls to the office with the paranoid new-mom questions we all have. They also have good evening and weekend hours.

My 9 month old son, Evan, goes to Lakeview Pediatric's on Belemont and we love, love, love Dr. Ramadan. She always takes plenty of time with us, answers all of our questions and is really good with Evan. The nurses are great and very quick in administering the shots (they get four during their 1 month, 3 months and 6 month check-up).

A good friend of mine also goes there and really likes Dr. Newport as well but I have never meet her.
