Seeking Pediatric Care in Glenview Area
Hi Moms-
You all have been so helpful with other medical referrals I've requested, so I thought I'd try another request. I'm new to Glenview, and looking for a good ped for kids 4,5 8. My 8 yr old came home with a fever and sore throat last week (turned out to be strep). We went to Glenbrook Ped's, but I have to say I wasn't too impressed. The first contact we had with the receptionist was less than welcoming. Dr. G was great, but there was not a lot of compassion from the nurses. Just wondering if there is another practice out there that someone can refer to me that they just love. Thanks very much!

Hi A.,
We've been going to Town and Country Pediatrics and love it...we see Dr. Pollen, but to be honest, we've not had a bad experience with any of the dr....the Glenview office is great and is on Patriot Ave. in the Glen....they also have offices on Halsted and on Lincoln avenue....
Good luck.

Hi A.,
I also live in Glenview and we see Dr. Goldberg through the Northshore medical group. They have an office right by Old Orchard. The staff is always very friendly and helpful and we love Dr. Goldberg. Our son is only 6 months, so we haven't needed to use any of the other doctors in the group, but I have heard very good things about the rest of the doctors!
Here's a link to Dr. Goldberg's information on the Northshore website: http://www.northshore.org/apps/findadoctor/doctor.aspx?do...
Good luck and welcome to Glenview!

Dr. Ohr or Dr. Canel at North Shore internal medicine/ peds. They are both wonderful. I like the newer Dr. that is there as well. (Dr. Yasowitz (sp?)
I have been taking my kids there since they were just a few months old. So, 10+ years now. right on the corner of Lake & Waukegan. Phone number ###-###-#### The Nurses are wonderful too & they take almost all the insurance out there.

we go to town and country peds in the city and i know they have an office in glenview (not sure if it's in "the glen" proper, but i think it's somewhere around there. their website is townandcontrypeds.com... they have late office hours and saturday hours. my only issue with them has been their sick child appts... they only take them day-of, which makes sense, but you have to be on the phone the second they open to get an appt that isn't at 7pm--they fill up really quickly, at least in the city!
hope that's helpful.

I would also highly recommend Children's Healthcare Associates on Shermer. The number is ###-###-####. I love every one of the dr.s there. And the nurses are really fantastic. (I call in a lot). We also went to their main office in the city and then moved to the suburban office two years ago.
