Seeking Pedi. Accepting Medicaid

Has anyone used Dr. Epifania Caturay or Dr. Christina Robinson with the Pediatrics & Adolescent Center in Grand Prairie? What was your experience? Seeking a pediatrician accepting medicaid in Arlington, unfortunatley my daughter will loose her ins. this month. Most pedi not accepting medicaid (Cooks Childrens, USMD, etc...). What about Wee Tots in S. Arlington (not sure who the pediatricians are there)? TIA!!

What can I do next?

Thank you everyone! My daughter has finally chosen a pedi. with all your info..
Thanks again you are all wonderful!!

My family has used Dr. Caturay for my little sisters, but they are both married now, so it's been a while. I liked her a whole bunch, but then I love phillipino Dr's!!! I would go to her. I know nothing about Dr. Robinson, though, sorry.

My daughter has found someone she loves in Hurst close to Precinct Line and Harwood if that's not too far away.

I love WEE TOTS! My nephew has a male doctor there (his name escapes me), but he and the staff are wonderful. The two times I took my nephew to the doctor, the doctor didn't rush, they answered my questions, and it is so clean!! Give it a try.

I LOVE Dr Ruth Bernardez-Tan off of 360 and Mayfield in Grand Prairie. I know she does accept medicaid. ###-###-####

We have gone to see her for over 6 years, she even took care of my son who was born 16 weeks premature.

I usually do not respond that often, but my pedi is at Wee Tots....Dr, Riojas is the best!!!! She was the one that sent me for an MRI when my son was diagnosed with a brain tumor, which ended up being cancerous.

Blessings to you

Hi L.,

I used this Dr's office for my twin boys for 6 + months. While the staff were always friendly....I was frustrated that I was NEVER able to see just one Dr. They have 4 Dr's there & everytime I went in, I got a different opinion/Dr. They rotate you around @ each visit to a different Dr. also depending on who's in that day. For instance, if one of my boys had an ear infection, it was diagnosed by one Dr & follow up appt w/another Dr - it was just too unorganized for me. I have a different insurance now with a different Dr. So, hope this info is helpful! If I wasn't clear or confused you, ask me. Thanks & Merry Christmas to your family. Blessings,

S.
