Seeking OB/GYN at Good Samaritan

Just found out I'm preggers with #3 and I'm looking for a new OB/GYN that delivers at Good Sam. Had my middle child at Edwards and was happy with everything, but would prefer to stay a little closer to home sine I live 2 miles from Good Sam.

What can I do next?

I was very happy with my ob care from Midwest Women's out of GSH. There are 3 doctors in the practice and I absolutly loved 2 of them, and liked the 3rd. Dr. Bansore and Siddqui are great, the third just seemed a little less personable. Great practice though.

Hi M.,

Congratulations on your pregnancy! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. George Banuelos on Highland Ave (his office is directly across the street from Good Sam). He also delivers out of Edward. I had my first child at Edward and my second at Good Sam...it was great, he just walked across the street for the second delivery! Great doctor, very knowledgeable and very nice. His staff is really nice too. You can check out all of the Good Sam OB/GYN at the Good Sam website. Best of luck!

Hi Michelle,

Congrats on #3!! I'm currently preggers with #2 and am seeing Dr. Andy Roth at Highland Medical Building (just down the street from Good Sam, across from Yorktown). I had Dr. Roth for my first baby (after suffering a m/c), also delivered at Good Sam. I've been seeing Dr. Roth ever since (even for non-related prego stuff), and cannot say enough good things about him. His personality is great, the nurses and office staff are always helpful, and the Birthing Center at Good Sam is fantastic! His partner is Dr. Zucker, who is also a wonderful doctor, so you'd be good with either doc. They are excellent caretakers I highly recommend them to anyone. Sorry, forgot to mention their office number is ###-###-####.

Good luck in your search, and again, congrats!

I've gone to West Suburban OBGYN for 9 years now, had all three kids with them and at Good Sam. They're a wonderful practice, and Good Sam renovated their pregnancy wing two years ago, so it's all new now (and totally private rooms)! Dr. Barbour (male), Dr. Fan (female), and Dr. Nolan Watson (female) were my favorites at the practice.

Their # ###-###-####, and their website is: http://www.westsuburbanobgyn.com/

The thing I like the best about them is that they take the time to get to know you, and your situation - and they really care about their patients. Best of luck with your #3!

Mom to two fab girls (4yrs and 6mo) and a silly 2yr old boy!

I would also recommend TRE Medical (Drs. Jenks, Kelly and Lawler). I was seeing them for 1/2 of my most recent pregnancy, but my hubby wanted me to switch to a group of Edward docs, since hubby is a doc on staff there and wants access to the medical records.

I really liked the TRE group and definitely would have stayed with them if it were not for hubby's preference to go with Edward.

I LOVE Tre Medical (Drs. Jenks, Lawler, Kelly) and also Dr. Gallo (who was with them and now has his own office). They are wonderful, caring physicians!

I would recommend West Suburban Obstetrics and Gynecology. Their offices are located on 22nd Street in Lombard (right behind Target/Yorktown Mall). I went to Dr. Fan, Dr. Nolan-Watson, and Dr. Barbour (delivery). They are all great!

I can second the recommendation for Dr. Jenks at Good Sam, although that practice doesn't take all insurance plans. I currently see Dr. Nolan-Watson at West Suburban OB, and they have some of the best, caring nurses I have ever encountered.
