Seeking Nice Female Ob/gyn in Mckinney or Nearby, Am Pregnant
Hi..I just recently moved to Mckinney from south Texas...also Just found out I'm pregnant and need an OB...I live in Mckinney and would prefer to go to a caring female OB that is in mckinney or nearby (allen or frisco). I heard that it is preferable to deliver in Allen rather than Mckinney, any opinions on this as well?

I see Sara Roberts at Craig Ranch OBGYN and I would recommend Shea Joyner too. Both are very sweet doctors and deliver at both.
I delivered at McKinney and had a great experience.

Hi. I know of a great female OB-GYN in McKinney. Her name is Dr. Shaye Joiner and she is at Craig Ranch OBGYN (www.craigranchobgyn.com). I am not personally a patient, but she attends my church and everyone talks about how wonderful she is. I am not sure if she is taking new patients, but you can try.

I have enjoyed going to Plano Healthcare for Women, Dr. Gwen Webster. She delivers at Presby Plano, loved this hospital both times I was there :)

I went to Craig Ranch OBGYN and had a good experience as well. I really liked their office and didn't have any problems. I delivered at Allen Presby and also had a great experience there! One reason I chose it over McKinney was because you get to stay in the Labor/Delivery room the entire time which is great! You're not whisked away after delivery to a "postage stamp" room! ;) That being said, I belive that's only the case if you have a normal delivery vs. a C-Section. Anyway, good luck in your decision!

I go to Dr. Varadi ###-###-####. She is in Plano near 15th & Coit. She delivers at Medical Center of McKinney & Baylor of Frisco (where I just delivered). It's not as close as Allen, but WAY nice. Dr. Varadi accepts almost all Health Insurances too. For me it was worth the drive.

I have gone to Dr. Jennifer Allen in McKinney for 6 years now. She is a member in a group of four female doctors (North Central Women's Health Partners), and I've had interaction with 3 of them, and like them all. Have several friends who go to the others, and they are pleased. Also, having delivered 2 babies at Medical Center of McKinney, I would recommend it. I was pleased with the level of care, and liked the staff. I believe they now have a Level II NICU unit, if the need arose for you. Best of luck to you.

Congrats. I ditto the positive responses about North Central Womens Health Partners. I am a patient of Dr. Lori Halderman and she was wonderful. I am a first time mother and had a great experience with the Dr.'s and nurses at this practice and when I delivered at Medical Center of McKinney.
