Seeking Moms to Join in Walk for Autism Research

When will this walk be? I am interested. I am a Special Education teacher with a 1.5 year old boy and am interested in Autism research and walks for cures! Why do you think ur daughter has autism? I mean I know there is an assortment of theories out there such as vaccinations, the environment and genetics. I personally think that there is a combination of reasons. Such as a genetic predisposition to the disorder coupled with vaccinations AND enviromental factors. Consequently, I separated all of my son's vaccinations (just in case) and am now worried about giving him the MMR (which there is so much controversy about). I am also a Brooklyn mommy (3 month old son). Autism is something that deserves our support and it will take hard work to keep it in the forefront of the minds of New Yorkers/Americans generally much more concerned with Bush & Terrorism.
Please give more details on this event as it develops. I would love to volunteer. I have weekends off.
