Seeking Moms in the Mckinney Area

You should check out meetup.com. I am a member of the sassy sisterhood of moms. It's a meetup group in Mckinney I have only been to a few activities but it's been really fun. They have a least two things a day to do. It's really nice because you can pick and choose what and when you want to attend. They do everything from at home playdates, mall playdates, moms night out and are even starting a book club. It's a great way to get out of the house and meet new people. Oh yeah and the kids like it too =). If that group doesn't work for you there are lots of other mommy groups on meetup so check it out!

I joined the Mom's Club of Mckinney when I had my first baby. I made so many friends. There are always activities, parties, playdates and fun stuff to do with your little ones. Here is the website..

I have a 4 month old little girl and a 3 year old boy. I am sort of new to the area. You should try to look for moms groups at meetup.com. I found this wonderful and very active group calle daisies and dragonflies on meet up and it has been great. They have at least 2 events going on every single day. IT's awesome. YOu should try it out. If you don't want to be a part of a group we can meet somewhere to chat while the kids play.

Have you checked into a MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group? It's for moms who have children ages birth thru Kindergarten. I am the Assistant Coordinator for a group that meets the 1st & 3rd Fridays at First Baptist Church in McKinney. We also have a Wednesday night group that meets. Both offer childcare. There are 4 groups in McKinney. Our two at FBC, one at Trinity Presbyterian and one at Crosspoint Church. Buggin' Around is a group for all parents (moms, dads, step-parents, foster-parents, grandparents, gay/lesbian parents, single parents, married parents, divorced parents and every kind of parents in between), who want to be active with their young children (infants, toddlers, and preschoolers) while building lasting friendships. 

Our activities include park playdates, zoos, museums, themed home playdates, age-specific playgroups, arts and crafts, parents night out/in, field trips, holiday parties, movies, potlucks, and everything in between. Most of our activities are during the week, during the day. However, we do have evening and weekend family activities!

The goal of this group is to create an active, close and laid-back playgroup. We welcome all parents who are looking to make friends for their children and for themselves. Hi there. I live in Mckinney too and am home with my almost 4 month old little boy. I have been looking to meet some other ladies with with babies. It seems like most of the playgroups are for older kids.

There are ton of mom's groups around for SAHM's. However, I'm a working mom and there aren't any around. So another memeber of Mamasources and I are going to start our own group and we'll do things on the weekends. If you'd like to join us we'd love it.
