Hey, all...
We just moved here a week before Christmas, and I would love to meet some other moms in the area. I was hoping to do MOPS, but right now our 8 1/2 month old son still naps during part of that time, so it's hard to plan around that. I'd love to connect with some other gals--go walking with strollers, meet at the mall for a coke, go to a park with the coming spring weather, etc. Nothing high commitment--maybe once or twice a month, then add if we want if we see that it's something we enjoy. Any moms out there interested?

My name is N. and I live in Eagan. My daughter just turned one. I have also been trying to find a play group, but my schedule is different. My husband works nights and I work during the day. I belong to Moms Club of Burnsville - North. Currently, there's around 30 moms in our group. We have a monthly calendar that includes monthly coffees, craft days, recipe exchanges, park outings, zoo outings, mom's nights out and I am just starting a children's and adult book club. You can opt to join a smaller playgroup within the group that would meet once a week. I belonged to one for 5 years and loved it. I made some great friends and so did my oldest son. Mom's Club is great because you can be as involved as you want. If you are interested e-mail me and I can get you the contact info or answer any questions you might have. Good Luck!
