Seeking Location for Son's 2Nd B-day Around Livonia

I'm in desperate need of finding a place to host my son's 2nd b-day party. Our home is not big enough to accomodate the number of guests. There is only about 7 or 8 children, mostly adults (around 15-20). I'm looking for somewhere fun for the kids, that also serves food and is not too pricey. Any suggestions? (Chuck E. Cheese is out of the question)

What can I do next?

If you just wanted to do it at a restaurant I know Red Robin is VERY KID FRIENDLY and reasonably priced and I've seen birthday parties there before. There's one located at 6 Mile and Newburgh in Livonia.

My sister and I rented a room at the Livonia Rec Center and had a joint B-day party for our daugthers age 2 & 3 years old. We just rented a room and brought food but they have 2 hour party package that you can get. The package includes 1 hour in the party room and for the second hour you can use the tree fort or swimming pool etc . Pizza and pop is included and price depends on activity. Prices are $11- 16 pp but you can just rent a room and bring food instead of getting party package Check out the Rec Centers website for more info: http://ci.livonia.mi.us/

My kids love Little Cesearland...they have a wonderful play area that most kids don't even care if there are "token games" they like going through the mazes the most. Plus for each child you get a certificate with the party for 230 tickets so you don't have to buy goodie bags and the birthday kid gets 500 ticket for a prize. Glow golf in Canton is also good even though they don't have food but you would have to call. My kids love that too and they have a lazer tag place in case the adults want to try their way through there. A new Italian/pizza place opened in Redford called CiCis I think? My son just went there and said they have a banquet type menu and the teens love it. Apple bees in kid friendly. Java Jungle in Canton, or Campus Cafe in Canton...that is family friendly for all and with small children at a birthday party I would rather they are entertained then the parents. Campus Cafe has a room in the back for parties big enough for 20 kids. I know the golf one was a stretch, but worth considering in the future though. It is an indoor place for mini golf.

Hi A V, if you wouldnt mind traveling outside of Livonia there is a nice place off 12 mile and Northwestern Highway called Franklin's. It is a gym but they have setup's for party's. They have the little toys that are at the park and things that kids would love to play on. Off the top of my head I cannot remember the cost, but they provide everything for you. The cake, food, decorations, drinks and all. Give them a call if you are willing to look outside of Livonia, it was well worth it. I had my 1 year olds party there in Nov. And I had to do nothing but bring the kids, they did everything else. Hope it all works out for you.

I'm not sure where the nearest one is located, but Pump it Up provides really fun parties. Good luck!
