L.,

Try a church day camp program. I know they tend to be a little bit more lenient. I started working at one myself. Good Luck!

Hi L.,

Many ice cream shops hire at 15, along with grocery stores. Also, maybe yall could get the word out, because babysitting makes great money! If she's trained, she can lifeguard at 15, too. Hope this helped! Good luck!

I know Market Street in Allen has young teens working. I think they are 15. Some grocery stores hire at 15.

Good luck

I don't know for sure what their age guidelines are but we recently went to a birthday party at Sweet N Sassy in Frisco and all the girls applying makeup, doing hair, and teaching the girls a dance looked between 15-17. I commented to another mom at the party that the best part of your child working there had to be that it would be great birth control (working around little kids all day).

Contact your local Mary Kay director. She may need someone a few hours week to wipe makeover mirrors, label product, fold brochures, and do light office work, etc. Just go to marykay.com and click on find consultant enter your zip code, and look at the resulting website. If it says Indpendent Sales Director, give her a call. You may also try a non-director consultant, because she may be trying to promote herself, and a few hours of help a week might be just what she needs to move up in her business! Hope this helps!

Does she enjoy children? Find several families to trade off her time as a mother's assistant. So many mother's would be thrilled to have help over the summer.

At 15 i started working at a veterinary hospital in the boarding area you may try that. Most retail places want someone who is at least 16 with a drivers license so that they are not reliant on someone else to get to and from work. Good luck the job market is really tough right now.
