Seeking Interior Decorator in Northland
Hi, Does anyone know a reasonable interior decorator who will come to your house and help with color coordinating paint colors for my living/hearth room. I have an open floor plan. My 2 yr old daughter has become an artist coloring on my walls with an ink pen. Does anyone know if anything will take off ink from the walls? I've tried the Magic Eraser it worked great for the crayon but not for ink or sharpies! How about how to keep her from doing this. I've tried putting everything up but she always seems to find a pen lying around. Looking for someone with color swatches or a good eye for color, because I have one picked out but not sure what to add with it. Any advise is appreciated. I live near Zona Rosa.

We are trying to sell a home in the Fairways near Liberty and our realitor recommended this house stager. Our home has a very open floor plan downstairs and 4 rooms upstairs. Cynthia came in and was great! She took things we already had and either removed them completely or put in different rooms. She also recomended color schemes and etc that I would not think of.

She charges $60 per hour with a 2 hour min. but it was WELL worth it. Gave me great ideas to use or not. Very easy personality and doesn't waste the time.

I don't know any interior designers but I have used the Behr paint website and it's great for finding coordinating colors, you can even upload own pictures. The website is: http://www.behr.com/behrx/workbook/index.jsp
The ink pen on the wall, I suggest trying goof off.

I would highly recommend Dawnielle Picco of Decorating by Dawnielle, you can reach her at ###-###-####. She also has 2 children of her own and could lend some advise on the "artist coloring" too=). She is located up North in the Liberty area. I just spoke with her when I saw your posting and she said she would be more than happy to help if you were interested.

im not sure im remembering her web addy correctly but look up ready set design, or ready set decorate...google should help. I believe her name is Amy. Dont take my lack of memory for not being impressed with her work, it was just a long time ago, but she was SO easy to work with, listened to what my husband and I were trying to accomplish, and made our plan work with the rest of the house that we didnt want to change. She will do anyhthing rom simply helping pick colors to all out shopping with you and arranging your furniture.
