Seeking Indoor Playspaces
Hi all-
I was looking for a place kind of like discovery zone or funtime junction in Manhattan.
I live in NJ, work in the city. hoping to find sometheing like that to bring my son to before I go to work. I bring my son with me to the city on my way to work and my husband takes him home.
Checked online all the places that I found no longer exist.
I would appreciate all suggestions. Thank you in advance,
N.

just to clarify... you are looking for a place in manhattan, not NJ - right?
Appleseeds is supposed to be amazing but a bit pricy. Also the Children's Museum (one on the Upper West Side and one on Lafayette) have morning programs... kinda depends what time you have to be at work.

There is an interesting place in Brooklyn called Mamalu. Here is the link: http://www.mamalu.us/ I love the place, plus McCarren Park is right across the way. Its like a cafe area, and play area. There isn't too much of a discovery setting, but there are lots of other kids there. The admission fee is $5 for the whole day. They have lots of organic foods there as well.
Hope this is near where you want it to be.

Funtime Junction is in Fairfied (Near Willowbrook mall). There is a serious lack of indoor play places in NJ.
