Seeking Ideas in Opening a Book Store

Where do you live, or where do you want to open a bookstore? I have alway thought I would like to have a metaphysical bookstore in Tarpon, or PH or Dunedin....

I have thought about opening a consignment shop for clothing/decor furnishings. Maybe there is a way to consolidate our ideas? A cafe lounge would sound great for bookstore and or a consignment shop...they seem to do so well in the Tampa areas. Let me know what you think.

i am not able to start any business ventures at this time, but i wanted to make a sugestion. find a way to obtain books that the schools use and indicate what level they are. My son's teacher is always telling me what level he is reading on but non of them are ever able to direct me as to what books to buy based on this as they say it is difficult for them to translate what level one of easy readers books would compare to in the class room...it just get very frustrating when i am trying to purchase appropriate books.

Hi L., Let me first say that while I am unable to start any business "adventures", I think this is a wonderful idea! I hope that there is someone who can go in on this with you! I would like to give you some ideas I think you have a great first step to owning your own business I have thought of it a time or two.

This has also been a dream of mine. I also thought of having like a cyber cafe/newsstand/bookstore hybrid. I'd love to research it with you.
