Seeking How to Sign up for Medicaid for Medical Care

Call the Texas Department of Human Services1888-###-###-####

You can call 1-800-647-6558 to sign up for Medicaid and they will send you a booklet and a phone number to call to find Doctors that accept that Medicaid in your area.

Once you sign up they will send you a booklet that list doctors in your area that except medicaid. I live in the Arlington area but I went to see a doctor in North Richland Hills. She accepts medicaid and she came highly recommended. I was a high risk patient. And she can also recommend a great peditrician. The OB is located at North Hills Hospital: Doctor Dana Snells (there are 3 doctors in the suite they are all great). Hope this helps.
