Seeking Hotel/resort Recommendations for Wisconsin Dells for October
We have an opportunity to go on a much needed family vacation to the Wisconsin Dells. This is our first time to the Dells. I have a very active 5 year old boy and a very active 23 month old. We are looking for an indoor waterpark, most likely. Any recommendations would be so greatly appreciated. Right now, our top choice is probably Wilderness Lodge & Golf Resort. We liked Treasure Island but our oldest son is still too short to ride most of their rides so we are concerned he'd be disappointed if he knew he couldn't ride them.

I recommend The Wilderness Resort... I have a 5 year old a 25 month old and a 9 month old and we have been to all the indoor hotels there and by far I would recommend the wilderness.. There is something to do for everyone there....Have a grat time where ever you go....

Hey Doreen, we have stayed in wilderness in the dells and had a great time. their website is http://www.wildernessresort.com/index. the water park is a bit big for the age of your kids, but my kids are the same age and they really enjoyed it. also, i'd suggest looking at the special packages they have because it can be cheaper.

My family and I go to the Dells every year for a get away and the last two times we went, we stayed at the Kalahari. It was fantastic! There is so much to do you don't have to even leave the resort. They have an awesome indoor area for kids and the outside area is great too, if it is warm enough! You should check out their website! Have a great time!

I took my 24 month old and 9 month old to the wilderness. They both loved it. We used the outside area a lot. One of the indoor rooms was really noisey and my 24 month old freaked out a bit. She didn't like loud noise then. There was definately plenty of things to do, and kids eat free! Your 2 year old might be jealous of the 5 year old, if he isn't able to do all the same things.
Anyway, overall my kids loved the wilderness. We had so much fun, we stayed an extra day.
Have a great trip.
