Me and my two boys need to get on a health plan. They are 2 years and 6 months and at this time in their life, my opinion, they need to be monitored closely. I changed my occupation and no longer have coverage by UHC which I loved! I am really not interested in Ameriplan or anything like it. Does anybody have any suggestions?

What can I do next?

I am an agent through NASE - we provide health insurance for individuals, the self-employeed and small groups. I would be glad to put a plan together that would fit your needs and your budget.
You can contact me directly at ____@____.com or ###-###-####. I look forward to helping you.

Call Deeann Jacobs at ###-###-####. She is a broker, so she works with all insurance companies and will not try and push one plan over the other. We have been clients for several years and have been really happy. What I like about her is that she keeps a close eye on the market and always calls when our premiums are about to increase to let us know if there is a better deal with another insurer.

Hi L.,
I highly suggest calling Ray Smith with The Smith Group. His office is ###-###-#### and his cell is ###-###-####. He worked with me for 6 months educating me on the differences between group and individual policies so we could make the best decision for our family (we own our own company). He did not hassle us, pressure us, etc. and was very patient through the entire process. He is the most professional salesman I have ever dealt with. Good luck to you!

Just curious, is Ameriplan not a good choice? i am self employed and was starting to look at other healthcare. My husband's job doesn't offer a real good plan.
I also know Unicare is supposed to be pretty good and affordable.

You can go to www.acehealth.com they provide a vareity of different plans that are very affordable, and you can chose which company including Unicare, Blue Cross etc, and also the deductiable. If you go on line you can get a quote right there. Also if you are self employed you can go to www.nase.com and they have insurance that is very affordable. We pay 344 a month for a family of 3 people. This covers everything and you get a certain amount per year for doctors visits, plus good prescription benefits. The deductiable is only 3000 per month which is lower then most of the other plans out there.
