Seeking Hair Salon/barber to Scissor Cut a Man's Hair

My husband wanted to try a 'scissors only' haircut, so I called around and he went to Tony n Guy's at Northeast Mall. He liked it, but it was pricey! $45 for a guy's cut seems a little much! But if you have the budget and are looking for a place that will do a good job, Tony n Guy's might be the place!

I am a stylist, and I scissor cut, but I'm best at women's. I've seen a really nice barber shop on 377/Denton Highway. You know where Kholes, Super Target, Cotton Patch, Kid to Kid is?... I can't remember WHICH shopping center it is in(it is just a string of them, I think it's closest to Kid to Kid)... all I remember is it is in one of those. (I think it is next to a "Cookie Bakery" store and a grocery store. Also, I know a girl named Angela who works at the Smart Looks right next to the McDonalds, across from Jerad's Jewelers by the North East Mall. She actually was trained at a Barber shop. I don't have the #, but look it up and ask if she scissor-over-combs. She is so sweet and nice.

I work at Denman's in Hurst and it is 1/2 barbers 1/2 hairstylists...we are open Tues-Fri 9-5 and Sat 8-3 the barbers take walk ins only. and if you want a stylist it would be by apt. the # is ###-###-#### FYI All the Barbers have been doing hair for 15+ years...Good Luck!!

I've only been to this place in Grand Prairie one time, they are Asians. Main Street in Grand Praire across from the CVS Pharmacy.

My husband and I both have our hair cut by a stylist in Arlington - Christine - she is located inside the BROWNSTONE VILLAGE. She cuts his hair with scissors. We moved to Dallas over a year ago and drive back to Arlington to have her continue to cut our hair. ###-###-#### is her number. I think she charges $25 for a man's haircut. She trims his neck with the clippers, but does the whole haircut with scissors. She is GREAT. Hope this helps! C.
