Seeking Good OBGYN and Prenatal Vitamin

I have been going to Dr. Nancy Brown with the Partner's in Women's Heath Care for some time now and I love them. There are 5 DRs in the practice and I would recomend 4 of them. Dr. Brown and Dr. Kareem were my favorite DRs (Dr. Kareem being the DR that deliever my baby last August). Both are female, if that matters to you. They only DR I was not fond of was Dr. White...she seemed a little rushed at times to me. The other two DRs are male, but I was not treated personally by them. They have two offices, one in Oviedo and one on Princton, just south of Florida South. However, they are affiliated with Arnold/Winnie Palmer. Their number is ###-###-####.
I am still on the Prima Care Prenatal due to breastfeeding. It seems to be an excellent product.

I, too, am looking for a good ob, but I do have a prenatal recommendation: Naturemade Prenatal vitamins ROCK! I tried the prescription ones from the dr & they made me sick, but not these. Good luck with your search!

Hi C.! I had a request something like this back on 7/24/06 for a good gyno and got quite a few GREAT responses. I would highly recommend going back to the requests from that date, for you may find it very informative! I had many problems with 2 different doctors and changed doctors at 32 weeks! Good luck!!!

Dr. Bhullar of OB & GYN Specialists is a great doctor. He does take the time to listen and answer any questions that you have. And their practice only delivers at Winnie Palmer. Dr. Bhullar's nurse, Staci is very nice too.

Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the office, other staff members and other docs in the practice, because I haven't had the same experience with some of them as I have with Dr. Bhullar. I did, however, have a good experience with Paula Mix and Carolyn Weinstein, who are ARNPs and Dr. D'Heureux, but I only saw them once.

But I still stand with high recommendations for Dr. Bhullar. I've seen him several times and insist on seeing him for each visit and only see the others during an emergency.

Dr. Mercantile at Celebration Hospital in Celebration is excellent. I used to work at Walt Disney World and all the ladies I worked with went to him because he and his staff were so kind and professional. He has delivered my two sons and has been my OBGYN for the last 8 years. The number is 407-566-BABY.

P.S. - The hospital is also great and has just opened up a new wing for maternity. It is a lot less busy then Arnold Palmer or the other city hospitals. That means more personal attention and they are not in a hurry to release you post delviery or induce labor(to rush things along) when having a baby.

Wow, I live in the winter park area and have a five year old son too... I work for a family practice office in longwood and refer all of our woman to Dr. David Goss... ###-###-#### they have offices in Longwood and Lake Mary. Very nice office amazing Staff and phenominal doctors.. Best of luck!! By the way I am M. and My son is Matthew... He is in kindergarten this year!! A huge change for our family.. We have lived here for about a year...

I am expecting my fifth child in Dec.
I have been taking a vitamin called Double X...its a multimineral/multivitamin..all organic....produced, harvested and manufactured according to pharmaceutical standards (which isnt mandated by law) and FDA approved. It's as though you were eating 30$ of organic food daily...truly amazing...wonderful for your health and the they are the #1 helath company online in the world, etc....I did a lot of personal research prior to using and found no other company or brand that compares. I also continue to take them after delivery. My entire family...they have a children's line...takes them as well...and I will for life...So YES...I have a great company to refer you to if you want the info. Just let me know...
Also, my OBGYN is in Alt Sp, named Dr Savortham...she's great and I enjoy her entire staff..smaller office. Delivers at Winter Park and Palmer I believe.

Not sure if you have to go to Winnie Palmer for insurance reasons or if this is a choice. However, if you have no choice and must have your baby there, then Dr. Bielawny with Physicians Associates is excellent. This is a HUGE practice, so you need to know that it is a "crap shoot" as to who will be there to catch your baby, but Dr. Bielawny spends lots of time with his patients in the office, answers questions, etc. His office is located in the Waterford Lakes shopping center near the movie theatre.

If you have a choice as to where you have your baby, my other favorites all deliver in other hospitals (i.e. Florida Hospital - Orlando, Altamonte, and also at South Seminole.) If you want their info, email me off-list at ____@____.com luck with your search.

Dr Peppy at Physcian's Associates on Sandlake is wonderful. He took care of me with my son (8months) and delivered my sister's three children. The other 2 doctors in his group are great as well. They all go to Winnie Palmer. Congratulations and good luck.

Duet chewables - I really dislike pills.

I'm not sure if he is affiliated w/ Winnie Palmer Hospital, but Dr. Steven Dukes in Winter Park is FANTASTIC!!!

His bedside manner is fantastic and he actually takes the time to sit down, listen to your concerns and EXPLAIN everything to you! I really can't say enough nice things about him.
