Seeking Good OB GYN in the Orange Park/Lake Asbury Area. Please Help!

When we lived in Jax I loved my docror ther. I think it was North Florida Ob. I saw Nancy Powers. She was a nurse practitioner and she was great.

I love my OB/GYN. Dr. Chafin he is in the St. Vincent's Hospital. ###-###-####. There is a nurse mid-wife (Amy) who is awesome also. Amy actually delivered my son. I also worked downtown so they were very close to my office. I have used them for 15 years.

I am pregnant with my second child, and have been going to North FLorida OB/GYN. It's located at 220/17(Fleming Island) I see Sharon JOnes, she is a midwife and I LOVE HER! She makes you feel extremely comfortable. I have heard that all of the ob's in that office are good though! Good Luck!

Dr Wilson!!!!He is the best ever! He delivered my 2nd child and It was the greatest! He is on hwy 17 in a little medical complex. Good luck!

Hi H.. Congratulations on your pregnancy! I am 7-1/2 months pregnant myself - first time. I go to Dr. Shah, he's part of North FL OBGYN and has an office on Fleming Island (220 and 17)and one on Kingsley. I have also heard GREAT things about Dr. Wilson, who I see someone else recommended to you. It's important to know where your doctor delivers (i.e. which hospital). Dr. Shah only delivers at Orange Park Hospital on Kingsley. I live downtown and was actually trying to find someone who would deliver at Baptist, but it didn't work out - long story. But I have seen Dr. Shah for years and he is very good. The Fleming Island office is great - the Kingsley office is the pits - I would avoid it. I have also heard great things about Orange Park Hospital. Good luck!
