Hello. I have just moved to Omaha and am looking for any good kids consignment stores or events.
There is a store called Bigwheels and Butterflies that is on the NE corner of Hwy 370 and 72nd Street, by the Starbucks coffee. I just stopped in there, but its a very organized store with a little bit of everything, plus they also buy stuff too, so if you have things you want to sell, that's also an option. Good Luck!!!

you've probably heard this already but reruns for fun is going on out in Lavista check out their website. It's great! it ends this saturday they haVE IT IN THE SPRING AND FALL. Hope it helps
October 6th (starting at 10 AM-) is the bi-annual Omaha Parents of Multiples Sale (Located in the UNO Sapp Fieldhouse). I highly recommend it. I have been to two different sales and had lots of luck finding great items (they sell clothes and all sorts of equipment). Get there early! It attracts a lot of people througout the area.

I would highly recommend ReRuns R Fun. Prices vary...some things are over priced, but I always find a few really good quality items at really good prices. Especially for babies, but toddlers as well. I don't know about the larger sizes; my daughter is three. You might also try DeJaVu on 120th and Center (I think).
Welcome to Omaha, Once Apon A Child is a store that is open off of Oakview mall. About 144 and Center. They have good clothes prices and well organized.
Reruns R Fun is the largest kids consignment sale around. It is going on until this sunday I believe. Go to Rerunsrfun.com to learn more about it.
Reruns-R-Fun is going on right now and on the final Saturday, most things are 1/2 off. Also, www.craigslist.org is another place to find clothes people are selling. You have to do a bit of searching the postings, but some times you can get a pretty nice sized lot for a decent price.

Any store that sells used clothes are going to have them high priced due to having to pay overhead. Any consignment store I have been to has never had good used clothes prices. I've even found that the difference in a Goodwill store located in Millard verses one in South Omaha has a significant diffrence in prices! I go into South/North Omaha to the thrift stores or go to Council Bluffs. I've found that only the thrift stores such as Salvation Army or Goodwill are the only ones with reasonable used clothing prices. Otherwise I might as well shop the clearance racks at stores and by the clothes new. There is a New Life Thrift Store at 36th and Harrison that I find a lot at or the Salvation Army in Council Bluffs has a lot too. There is also Omaha Freecycle which is a yahoo group or Omaha Garage Sales which is another yahoo group. (Free membership.)
