I just remodelled a kitchen and added a bathroom. Don't forget to have permits and contractors willing to get them for you before they start work. I do not recomment frontrange handman. they were great guys but "forgot" things they told me when they would do and I mistakenly didn't have them write down everything. Thier contract was vague and left room to leave out the little things. be as detailed as possible. I went to servicemagic.com and got quite a few responses.

My husband Ben McCane does tile work including mud set shower bases. He has been repairing some shower bases recently that were poorly done by a prevoius contractor.
