I've been using Southwest Peds since my 15 year old was born. They are kind concerning and truly wonderful with my children. My husband passed away 10 months ago and they were so helpful with my children. I had issues with insurance and they went above and beyond helping my family through this difficult time. I highly recommend Child & Adolescent Health Associates in downtown Chicago (http://cahadr.com/). The team of physicians there have taken wonderful care of my two sons. We see Drs. Clark and Tarnowski regularly, but have had great care from Dr. Mikhail for other visits as well. The doctors welcome questions - in fact, it's the first part of the visit - and I feel like they really take their time with the kids. The amenities associated with the office are great as well; discounted parking, plenty of books/toys in the waiting room and friendly staff.

Dr. Karacic has been in practice since 1994. She is GREAT. I went to her like 6-8 years ago.And I wish my sons could go there but they can't do to insurance issues but she is wonderful.No she will not critize your motherly knowledge, but I will say she will suggest.I love the fact that she is a mother so she understands. Just try her out and let me know how it goes. She is always on-time, you never wait long, and she is constant with her appointment schedule. Also, she will form a relationship with you and your child that you would not trade in for the world.

Also, if there is a chance that she is on vacation, she will schedule you with Dr. Claire Rathnau-Minnella. She is her back up doctor. She is very nice as well.

Dr. Jeremy Pripstein at Lifetime Medical Associates at Rush (Jackson near Ashland). I don't love the office, but Dr. Pripstein is the best. He is very patient, takes his time, listens and shows respect and concern for his patients and their parents. ###-###-####.

Loyoa Center in Orland Park. My children see Sean Diamond and he is one of the best around. Other physicians there are wonderful as well. All are affiliated with Loyola and some are professors and assistant professors.
