Have you looked into having the reptile man come? he really does a great job keeping the kids interested, adults too!! I believe you can find info on him on line... he is from the reptile zoo in monroe. its a really cool place to visit! you can even hold some of the snakes and lizards!

There's "The Bubble Guy" (don't remember his number). There's also a lady who does "Science" parties. You could look them up online. If you want more information, I can probably get more info from my friend. She also had a party where people did a puppet show for the kids.
