Seeking Easy Going Church for My Family.

Hi,
I'm particularly looking for a non-denominational church that is no pressure. I grew up in church and want the same for my kids. I live in Cedar Park and would like something close as my schedule is quite hectic

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

Thanks to all who responded to my request. i found that HC Bible seemed to be the popular response. Thanks again for all the input.

Hi S.,
The Vineyard on Anderson Mill Road is very easy-going and has good kids' church & baby care. We meet at 10am on Sundays in the strip mall just before the road works (if you are coming from 183).

I second High Point Fellowship in Cedar Park on New Hope Road. Our focus is Christ: worshiping Him, imitating Him, and becoming like Him. There are really great children's classes, but kids are welcome in with the adults, too. (That's really important to me - after all, Jesus said let the children come!) There is no pressure - our goal is to be a home of hope, help and healing to each other both before and after someone makes the commitment to be a member. We've been there 4 years and love it. If you decide to visit, e-mail me privately and I'll watch for you!

Dear S.,
I have a great church for you...it's Hill Country Bible Church NW. It is a non-denominational church, located on 620 and Little Elm. You can check out their website: www.hcbc.com. We've been attending Hill Country Bible Church for 13 years. The children's program is wonderful, the worship music is contemporary, and the message is relevant. Hope you visit. Service times are 9am and 10:45am.
Best wishes.

I cannot attend as we have a high need baby and I cannot leave the house much at all for now. However, we did go to Unity Church which is on Anderson Mill - very nice. I have not looked into the services, as we were there for something else but it was impressive and felt like a really loving, easy-going church. I would look into it. When our little one is older I will probably attend there.

Good luck!

I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints and it's awesome for families. Visitors are always welcome and they have three different congregations in Cedar Park, one meets at 9 and two meet at 11am. The second hour they have primary for the children where they sing songs and learn about Jesus and have activities. I use to love it when I was little! One is on 1004 W Park and the other is 2101 Bagdad Rd
Hope that helps!

hi! I recommend Gateway Community Church on McNeil road and 183N. I think they have the best childrens program and their motto is "Come as you are". i have been going there for 7 years and love it! go to gatewaychurch.com for info on times of the services in insight into the church

There is a nice church not far from Cedar park called Shore Line Christen Center. I believe they have a web sit. Also Hill Counrty Paper always comes out on Wed. and has a lot of church listings. God bless and Good luck finding where God needs you and your family.

Try SHORELINE christian church , it is super , has it's own daycare and the people there are awesome.
