Seeking Dance Class for Toddler in Hayward, Fremont or on on Peninsula

I'd like to put my daughter into dance lessons in the Fall--she'll be 2.5 yrs. We currently live in Hayward and work in Fremont, but are on the Peninsula several times/week.
Anyone know of any reputable dance studios? (Even though this is just for fun since she's so young, I'm both a teacher and a former dancer, so I'm sure I'll be picky ;)

What can I do next?

Hi E.,

In Fremont, Rachel's Ballet is a wonderful little ballet school. They are certified by the Royal School of Ballet. Both my nieces attend and we are very pleased. My sisters and I all teach dance so we are pretty tough critics. In Mountain View, Western Ballet is a great school. It is a nonprofit school for classical ballet.

I hope this helps!

My granddaughter went to Kids and Dance in Oakland.

Check out the Hayward Adult School programs for toddlers.

Info for both is on the web.

There are also Hawaiian or Polynesian Dance Studios. I don't know how young they take the kids.
Also, contact Cal State East Bay. They have a kinesiology dept. where some students are learning how to teach dance. I took my daughter there many years ago so I don't know what they offer now.

Hello,
If you would like to be able to head out onto the peninsulia, you could check out Bob Mackie Dance Studio, I used to dance with Bob for about 18 years, then a sport injury kept me from dancing. He's a great instructor and patient with children. he also has a few other instructors that he works with as well. if you would like anymore information let me know.
