I don't know much about the baby bottles but...my doaughter is ADHD and bipolar. The biggest thing that has helped her is eliminating artificial flavors and colors. She was also diagnosed with celiac disease. Getting rid of gluten was the biggest help. For me too. They have said for years that I have had several different autoimmune disorders but after 3 days on a gluten free diet I was a new person. Hope this helps.

i'm into those health issues also.

Hi D.,

I wrote a book just for people like you who are interested in getting healthier, but do not know how. It takes only four hours to read and is the compilation of hundreds of books I have read on how our food and lifestyle are related to our health issues. There are five phases to make it easy to do and tear-out shopping lists to take to the store so you can remember what to buy. It also contains lists of products I have tested and enjoyed, so you save time and money while you figure out what products you and your family like. It is called "Shopper's Guide to Healthy Living and is available on amazon.com. I think you will love it!

I would love to share some info with you when I get a little more time. I have controlled my son's ADD completely with diet. I have done a litte research on the plastic issue. I found some great perfect size glass water bottles for my kids - even a good size for my 2 yr old to hold at the world market. (check out VOSS water bottles). As far as finding a good baby bottle - I have not yet - I am sure there has got to bo some good ones somewhere. Avoid all number 7 plastic bottles as they are cosidered the worst culprit. Unfortunately the health market has not caught onto that one yet and i noticed in most of the health food stores thier water containers ARE number 7's - yikes!

I have attended seminars, read contless books and articles, and interviewed many in the past 4 years. i have most of my family off artificial colors, flavors, hydrogenated oils, corn, pasterized dairy, wheat, and absolutely no refined sugars. I get the meat we eat from farmers who raise grass fed animals and do not inject or grain feed them. My son was quite severe ADD by preschool age, and I myself had adult ADD. When we follow the diet we have absolutely no symptoms or problems. It is obvious when my son has a dietary mistake by his behavior. Also though - my son is a long story that iw ould love to share with you - by age 3 he had 3 major autoimmune diseases (chrones, diabetes, universal reactor to most foods and many plants, asthma, chronic sinusitis and ear infections.) I witnessed many miracles as I changed his diet. I am happy to say that he has not had any steroids or antibiotics since age 4 (he is now 9) and no longer has asthma, diabetes (type 2 of course), no sinus or ear problems, and allergies are now minimal. I myslef have stopped having chronic migraines, unexplained stomach pain, joint pain, and fatigue. i could go on - let me know if and what details you are interested in. Good luck to you and your health!

Have you looked into "tapping"? It is very interesting and works really well!

Below is a link to a recent Newsweek article and a USA Today article, that makes for interesting and educational reading for you and your loved ones.. You might consider giving this to everyone you know who uses plastic baby bottles & sippy cups:

no. but i do lean toward naturalistic ideas. i feel if we eat less processed foods and more from our gardens we will have healthier lives.

I don't know much about the plastic issue, but I do know about autoImmune disorders and ADD/ADHD, through alternative sources.
