There is a wonderful shop on Main St. called Blooms. They are fantastic!! If you are headed down town they are located just past Loma Vista on the left hand side of the street on Main St. There are also a lot of other sales happening around town. There is a MOPS fundraiser Fri & Sat April 18th & 19th from 8-1 p.m. at 2574 Bayshore Avenue, that is located in the Ventura Keys off of Harbor Blvd. Also coming up this fall is another Kids Consignment 4 You Sale that is held at the Fairgrounds. There is also Cribs2teens in Simi Valley. They also buy from you and give a higher percentage when you take store credit. It's located in the shopping center on the corner of First St and Los Angeles Ave.

I take my girls' "stuff" to Childrens Orchard in Thousand Oaks...the other closest would be Simi Valley or Woodland Hills. It is even better than consignment! They look through your things and give you CASH or 150% of the cash in STORE CREDIT. They have TONS of things and a nice section of new items also. Here is their website, with the direct link to the TO store...I normally have to make my appts about a month in advance they are so busy! We don't buy the used clothes/shoes, but they have a great selection of new puzzles, toys, and some clothes and shoes.

Hi, we have a great one in Thousand Oaks- The Children's Orchard. I think they have other locations, too. It's on Thousand Oaks Blvd.

M., have you been to "blooms" on main street? there are also some WONDERFUL thrift stores on oxnard blvd--super thrift and the arc foundation. hope this helps!
