Seeking Childbirth Class

Try calling Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital. I am sure that they have childbirth classes going on all the time.

My husband and I took a class through Royal Oak Beaumont when I was pregnant with my first. It was 3 years ago now but I really did like the class. You can just check the hospital's website for registration details.

If you're considering natural childbirth, try bradleybirth.com for a local instructor. I completed this course w/ an instructor in Warren- very worth it, if this may be the birth you'd like. Good luck!

They offer great birthing classes!

Ditto on the nine short months, however they may be taking the summer off (at least they are for being doulas). If not contact Southfield Providence - since they have the alternative birth center there they have excellent birthing classes.

By the way I used Christa at Nine Short Months as my doula and it was amazing.

Beaumont R.O. and Beauomont Troy both offer a great repertoire of classes.

I gave birth at Beaumont Royal Oak and they provided/suggested some great birthing and yoga classes (in the Birmingham area) - maybe you could get some details by checking out their website - sorry I don't have any specifics for you as it was 4 years ago.
