Seeking Bible Study - Fort Worth,TX
I am new to area, I live in Benbrook and I am looking for a daytime weekday Bible study. In the past I have been involved in many both through churches and non-denominational studies. I am willing to do a beginners study or an advanced study just to be in fellowship with other women seeking to deepen their knowledge of the Lord.

Bible Study Fellowship is non-denominational and international. Check out Lake Arlington Baptist church on Little Road or Lamar Baptist Church on Lamar north of I-30 about one block on Wednesday mornings from9:10 to 11:15am weekly. You are invited to orientation every first Wednesday at 9:10am. No obligation-no childcare on the first visit.
Classes for pre-school children are phenominal, ages 2-5 and I cannot say enough about this program for adult women or children. Dad, seniors, college also have groups that meet in Arlington and other areas with older children ages 5-up that is wonderful.
Right now we are studying Moses and the first 5 books of the OT.
You are welcome!

I think there is a BSF, Bible Study Fellowship, around here somewhere. Get on the website (Google "Bible Study Fellowship"), and it will direct you to the one nearest you. They have already started their semester, so you may want to just gather info now and start when their new semester starts.
I see that McKinney was recommended. That is where I go. They have lots of Bible studies to choose from. It is great!
Hope this helps.

The pastor of this church used to lead the singles group at Christ Chapel BC and it was started under them.

Altamesa Church of Christ also has a women's bible study/class on Tuesday mornings (I think 10-11 or 12). I don't know all the specifics but I could easily find out if you want more info.

I also attend the "Women in the Word" Bible study on Thursday mornings at Christ Chapel. It begins at 9:45 and ends a little before 12:00. You meet in small groups to go over the lesson (we are studying Deuteronomy) and then go into the sanctuary with all the women to hear the lesson. We have lunch together a couple of times during each semester and have a big lunch with all the women just before Christmas and in the Spring. They provide childcare for your children and extend the time so that you can go to lunch with your friends from Bible study. It is free. They provide all the materials and you can even catch up because they provide free CD's from each lesson in case you have to miss.
Bible Study fellowship is offered at several local churches. I think Westcliff Baptist had one and I think there is one at Birchman Avenue Baptist church which is near you. You can google it to find a location if you are interested in a more intense study. Many people have done BSF and now they come to "Women in the WOrd." I have met so many neat women and we have become great friends and supporters of each other. I still meet once a month with my group from last year for Birthday lunch. My husband goes to the "Mighty Men" Bible study held at 6:30 every Wednesday morning. It is free and they also provide a delicious breakfast. They have both of these Bible studies at night as well. When I have to miss I hate it because I love the study and the fellowship with the other women. Feel free to email and I will be happy to meet you at the church if you decide to attend. It is never too late. We have only met twice - and like I said, you can get the CD's if you need to catch up.

Not far from McKinney Bible Church is Christ Chapel Bible Church at the northwest corner of Montgomery Street and I-30. Currently, we are studying Deuteronomy. The church website is www.ccbcfamily.org. Childcare is available through lunch so you can get out with some of the ladies after the study.
