I'm on a really tight budget and have a darling 5 year old girl who wants to learn Ballet. I need to know what is out there and costs and schedules.
My 3 year old just started at Canyon View Arts Center. We have friends and family going there that love it!! It is in Riverton on 12600 South and 2700 West. The cost is $25 per month for 1 class per week. Classes are 45 minutes. There is no registration fee. A lot of the classes are full for this fall, but it wouldn't hurt to call. Larieanns dance academy in West Jordan is a great place for ballet. She is very knowledgeable and teaches great life skills and values as well.
I have a studio in Sandy. I know it's not exactly in the area you're looking, but it's not too far. It's not a professional studio. (I don't know if that matters to you, but I thought I should let you know.) I started teaching ballet to little girls in the neighborhood right after high school in my parent's basement. It kinda grew and I've now been teaching for 5 years. I've gotten new students through the years, but still have many of the original girls. For your daughter's age group I charge $30 per month.
