I use Tiara Cakes on the corner of Briar Forest and Dairy Ashford ###-###-####). They are very talented and fast. They made a Dora the Explora cake for my 2 year old. I thought I was going to get one of those image copy cakes. The top of the cake was a picture of Dora from the invitation drawn entirely with the star tip. It was incredible! The cake was very moist and had dulce de leche filling. I went back for my 7 year olds party and they made a cake with monkeys hanging from palm trees like on the Monkey Bizness logo. They also have made a giant chocolate chip birthday cookie for me. Their work always exceeds my vision!

The best bakery I have found around town is Julie's Cakes. They have two locations, Missouri City and Katy. The number to the store in Katy is ###-###-#### and the address is 23730 Westheimer Parkway, Ste E. Their website is juliescakes.net. They may be a little expensive for some, but I splurge for a good cake when it is for a special occassion. I hope this helps you out! - C.

Here's a neat business to support - a home school educated young woman has started a local bakery -- http://nutmegandco.com/ - looks great!

I received your email and wanted to just let you know that I do not know of any bakery's but my mother makes homemade brithday cakes and wedding cakes if you are interested. My one year old just had his party and she baked a fire truck with fire men figurines standing around it. If you would like I could give you more information. And, she would do it cheaper for what a bakery is if your interested.
Thanks,
L.
