We just went to a one year old party last night at Hoots and the cake was soooooo good I could of at the entire sheet. She said she bought it from Gloria's off of old coors. The flavor we ate was vanilla with bananna filling and butter cream icing... yummmy!

It depends on what you are looking for, both Unique Cakes by Karyn and ABC cakes are really well known for there cake designs. However, I think Unique Cakes by Karyn are beautiful, elborate and much more "gourmet" than ABC Cakes. I love Unique cake's lemon and poppy seed cake! I found ABC cakes good, in that little kid sugary sweet good. My suggestion is to visit both places and you'll get the sense of their styles. Here's a link to both to give you a small glimpse:

I don't know about RR because I never go up there but in Albuquerque the best two places to get a special shape cake is Unique Cakes by Karen or ABC Cake Shop. They will make you a special shape cake they will make you a tiny destroyer cake for the baby. I hope that it is a good birthday.

ABC Bakery in Albuquerque on San Pedro. They have the best cakes I have ever had.

My son turned one in October. You MUST go to ABC Bakery (1830 San Pedro Dr Ne, Abq 87110 ###-###-####, http://www.abccakeshopnm.com/). I took in a toy (rocket from Little Einsteins) and they created a huge AMAZING cake. Everyone loved it. I was so happy tears came to my eyes, and I am not one that frequently cries at things like that. Not only was the cake amazing to look at, but their cakes are always of the best quality. As my son would say, Yummy!

I highly encourage you to visit. They can recreate just about anything and they are extremely creative. It is also owned and operated by wonderful people. The staff is very helpful.
