Seeking AM Workout Program Other than Gyms

I was watching a TV show where a group of women get together (around 5:30am) to workout, motivate eachother, and had a trainer leading it. Just wondering if anyone knew of such a group?? I work full time and this is the only time I would be able to work out at all!!

What can I do next?

Hi E.,

I was just thinking the other day, as I was working out, that I would be interested in teaching / leading a group of mothers in custom-designed exercise. I am a former professional ballet dancer, and I teach combinations of yoga, pilates, as well as other modalities. I have a degree in exercise physiology and sports medicine, and I'm a mother of 3. Let me know if you find other moms, or would be interested in a private.
Otherwise, good luck!

I don't know where you live. You might want to check out your programs at your local parks and recreation department. San Mateo Parks and Rec has a Get Out and Get Fit class at 6:00 am at Seal Point Park in San Mateo.

www.bayareabootcamp.com It is great!!! And they have early morning classes!!

Hi E.,
I'm in SF and they have lots of these groups that meet at all different times, including very early. They are called Boot Camp and you can find them through bootcampsf.com or bayareabootcamp.com, if you're not in SF. Have fun!

Have you looked at Pacwest Athletics? They have a boot camp that meets in a few different locations across the bay area. Its not quite as intense as some other boot camp programs, just twice a week (and not to mention cheaper). Its from 6:00 to 7:15 - http://www.pacwestathletics.com. I've really liked it in the past and I'm not a super athlete - nor are the other people in the program. I'm hoping it will be part of my post-pregnancy workout schedule in 6 months!
