Hello - I am a mom, who is trying to get pregnant with child #2; my OB/GYN has retired, and I am considered a high risk pregnancy. I could continue at the group that my physician retired from; however, due to location, was looking around for a new OB / GYN. The hospital that the physician would deliver at may also play a role in my choice; so, I wondered what people had to say about Fairview Hospital or Hillcrest Hospital. Thank you!

both are great hospitals. Dr Farinacci and Grossman work out of Hillcrest. They have offices next to Marymount Hospital

I delivered 2 of my children at Fairview and will be going there for my next one due in Sept. I Think Fairview is AMAZING! the nurses really care and give you great support and I love my doctor, Dr,Lizbeth Brooks. She is great and delivers out of Fairview :) I would def recommend fairview as for Hillcrest I have only been there in the kids ER and Peds Unit and those were good experinces also :)

Hi D.!!
I moved to the area 2 1/2 years ago and had to find an OB. Since then, I became pregnant with our 3rd child. I found Dr. Jeanne Knotek and she is awesome. She has an office in Twinsburg and in Garfield Heights and she delivers at Hillcrest. Due to complications, I became a high risk pregnancy and was bedridden for the last 2 months of my pregnancy. Dr. Knotek was awesome and the staff at Hillcrest was great. I had visited triage at the hospital on 3 different occasions. I was also seen by their high risk OB patients there as a referral from Dr. Knotek. Dr. Chupta heads up the department and he and his partner (forgot his name) were fabulous as well. I would not hesitate to recommend any of them.
Dr. Knotek is associated with South Suburban Women's clinic.
If you have any other specific questions, feel free to email me.
Good Luck!!!

I delivered my twins at Fairview and they were great there. I was there for 2 weeks prior to my delivery. However I can't recommend an OB because my doctor delivers at Parma. I had been originally at Parma and had to be transfered there because Parma will not deliver before 35 weeks. Hope this helps.
