Seeking Advice on Where to Get Daughter's Ears Pierced
Hi Moms,
My little girl is just over 6 months old now and we'd like to get her ears pierced. I know that ear piercing is fairly common in many retail outlets, but I was hoping for some feedback from moms about places that work particularly with infants.
Thanks!

Our pediatrician did my daughter's ears at 18 months. She didn't use a gun. It was easy and my little one didn't flinch. She just hated being pinned down.

Check with your pediatrician. A lot of offices do it there. Its much safer. If not they may be able to recommend a good place.

Have you checked with your peditrician; a lot of offices pierce ears. If yours doesn't ask around and try to find one that does. Ours didn't, but I found a dermatologists office that does. I would rather have a doctor do it than a teenager at the mall.

I would check with the pediatrician. My sister's ears were done that way when she was 1 and that will probably be how we do my daughter's ears if she's under 8 or so.
If we did go to the mall, I'd try someplace like Claire's or a fancy jewelry store instead of Piercing Pagoda. I had problems with them with my own ears. Personal preference.
