Seeking Advice on How to Make Extra Money While Staying at Home with My Son
I am wondering if anyone has any advice on how to make extra money for my family while working in the home. I babysit one child, but have been unsuccessful at finding any more children to babysit for. Does anyone have any advice on how to advertise myself? Or has anyone else found a work from home program that is not a scam that actually works. Until my son was born, I was a social worker with a college degree. Now I have to change career direction in order to continue to stay home with my baby, so I am up for anything that really works.

Hi! My name is A., and I am a 20yr old stay at home mom. I have one little boy who is 22 months. I have been selling Avon for a while now and have found that it's a great way to stay at home with my child and stil make money. It's completely on your own schedule, and you can do it part time or full time. You can sale as little or as much as you want. It's so easy to get started, and it's only $20 to get started. Not outrageous like most at home jobs you could get. That was my main problem when I was looking for an at-home job. Just let me know if you are intersted and I can help get you started!

Hi!
There are lots of Direct Sales opportunites out there...anything from scrapbooking to cosmetics! Many are legitimate....look for ones that are not telling you that you'll get rich quick! Personally....I chose Pampered Chef because I'm not having to keep any kind of inventory or make tons of deliveries. That gives me a chance to stay home more, and have time for other errands and activities I need to do with my family!
Think about what you like to do...there's likely a direct sales business that will fit your interests...or give something new a shot! I'd be happy to tell you more about Pampered Chef, or tell you about some businesses that my friends are a part of!
Some great ones to research:
Discovery Toys
Avon
Creative Memories
Mary Kay
Longaberger (baskets)
Close to My Heart (scrapbooking & stamps)
Stampin' Up (stamps & scrapbooking)
Pampered Chef
Southeren Living at Home (home decor)
BTW...I'm originally from the Louisville area too! Still have family up there, so I go back often for visits...miss it! But we've made our home here now, and love it just as much!
Welcome to the area! Email me if you need anything!

I work at home some with Stayin' Home and Lovin' It! Its working out quite well but is not a get rich quick scheme. Its a legitimate opportunity and definitely not a scam. No large investments etc. Feel free to contact me or just visit my website www.MamaWorksAtHome.com if you are interested.
