Seeking Advice on Getting Rid of a Wart
My son has an annoying wart on his finger. What is the best, quickest, pain free way to get rid of it once and for all? We've tried several ways -freezing which hurts, duct tape, and liquid wart remover on occassion. It lokks gone or very diminished in size, but slowly comes back.

Get an Aloe plant. Cut the leaf down the side and squeeze out the gel. Put the gel on the wart and cover it with gauze. Do it once a day until its gone.

My son had bunches on his hands...dermatologist gave him a prescription for tagamin (i think) and duct tape...in 3 mo. most were gone, in 6 mo. all were gone. This was several yrs ago. They still are gone.
My daughter had one, on her ankle. It went away on its own, after a few yrs.

this will sound crazy... but it worked for me. I had 2 warts on my fingers through high school - 4 years! and when I went to college, my roomate had this book of "remedies" and we tried it, and honest to goodness, the wart was gone in 2 weeks, and I have never had one since (that was in 1987!). It's a crazy remedy, and we did it with an apple, but I just looked it up on line, and someone else did it with a potato and it worked for them. I copied their remedy, and it is very similar other than the apple/potato thing. It sounds crazy, but it really worked!!! Really!!! The key, like she says is that you have to "take" the potato (or apple). That was the hardest part for me - really had to go outside my comfort zone on that one (rightfully so), and I will never forget the moment. We had a huge apple orchard near our campus, so we drove by and I got out and took an apple from there... I should have left them a $1 or something... but anyway, hopefully I have given back to someone else along the way!! Anyway, here it is... and good luck.
INGREDIENTS: An Irish Potato, A Dish Rag ( IT HAS TO BE ONE THAT IS BEING USED AND YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT WITHOUT ANYBODY KNOWING ABOOUT IT OR TELLING ANYBODY THAT YOU TOOK IT)INSTRUCTIONS: tAKE AND WASH WARTS WITH WARM SOAPY WATER DRY, CUT POTATO IN HALF AND RUB THE FRESH CUT SIDE ON THE WARTS, THEN TAKE AND RAP IT INTO THE DISH RAG TAKE AND BURY IT IN YOUR BACK YARD (REMEMBER THE KEY IS TO STEAL ONE THAT IS BEING USED AND DON'T TELL ANYBODY OR IT WILL NOT WORK) WHEN THE DISH RAG AND THE POTATO STARTS TO ROT YOUR WARTS WILL
START DISSAPPEARING. IT HAS BEEN PROVEN TO WORK. I TRIED IT MY SELF WHEN I WAS AROUND 12 YEARS OLD AND I AM NOW 36 AND I HAVE NOT EVER HAD ANOTHER ONE.

Hello,
A wart is a virus. Use tea tree oil. I would saturate a band aid and put it around the wart so it is constantly in contact with the oil. That should do it. Time will vary everyone will be different. You can purchase tea tree oil in a health food store with a dropper. Just don't contaminate the dropper my touching the wart with it.
have a wonderful day!
L.

warts are viral and it is in the blood stream. that is the reason it keeps coming back. if you want to look at natural ways to cure the symptoms from coming back look at a website called native remedies. diet, stress are factors that trigger certain responses in our body. you want to eliminate things can trigger the warts like things that he eats. some things that are good for viral deficiencies are lysine, zinc and watching things called arginine's which are chocolate, peanuts, seeds and other nuts. things that are high in lysine are most vegetables, legumes, fish, turkey and chicken. good luck.

If you've tried over the counter stuff and it keeps coming back, i would just make an appointment with a specialist and have them take care of it. I had them when i was young and they just got more painful the longer my parents waited to take me. Once they did, he took care of it in one visit and that was that!

My son had one on the palm of his hand. We did clear NAIL POLISH. Put a coat on every other day or every third day....It really worked. It took about two weeks. (we weren't as regular as we should have been,) it got dark then came off like a scab. So far he hasn't gotten another one.
