"Seeking Advice About a Better Diaper"

Help! I am so tired of changing crib sheets every morning! (sometimes in the middle of the night). My sweet little 2 year old boy must pee pee all night long because every morning he and his bed are soaked! He is currently wearing Pampers cruisers, but they do not seem to be doing the job! Any suggestions on a better diaper? Thanks for yout time!

What can I do next?

You women are phenomenal!! We have made the switch to Huggies overnights and have not had a wet bed for a solid week now!! My praises to all of you for your advice. (my washing machine thanks you too!) M.

Hi M.- I had the same problem with my son. I used huggues and pampers forever and they leaked. I got some Luvs with bear hug streatch on accident and they have worked wonderfully. I am going to stick with them, no more leaks or wet sheats at night! You may want to give them a try and they are less expensive.

I love the Costco brand (Kirkland, I think?)--they have a super-tall waistband, and hold just about anything my two can dish out. Sometimes I'll go 1 size up, if the kid is close to the next size, because you can still make it fit without gapping, and the extra size has more room to absorb. Good luck!!

In my opinion pampers are the best.So i would try maybe putting a pull up on over it or put on two diapers also walmart and babiesrus and target have waterproof pads you can lay under them that might help the sheets a little.there are also plastic pnts might help.

We had this problem too on and off with my son. First and foremost, make sure his pee pee is pointing down when you put the diaper on. This advice came from my pediatrician after going thru every single sleeper and blanket he had one nite. Then either use the next size up diaper or start using the overnites. I don't think pampers makes an overnite, but huggies does. If your son is in a size 3 or 4 cruiser, bump him up the next size for nightime.

That's what we did and it worked. Good luck!!!

I have always liked Huggies better, although I have used Pampers and Luvs depending what I can find on sale. But, have you tried the night-time diapers? I have not used them but I think they hold more.

My son had the same problem with the Cruisers. I switched to Huggies Overnites at naptime and bedtime. Worked wonderfully!

Well, I have to concur, Huggies wins my vote. I have never had a problem with the Naturals or Supremes and I, also do not let me DD have anything to drink an hour before bedtime. And, even if she is just a little wet before bedtime, I put her in a new diaper just to make sure she has no issues.

I had the same problem with my son a couple of years ago. I started buying the huggies overnight diapers to use at night, and the others worked fine during the day time. They solved our problem. Hope this helps!

My oldest son wore Pampers Cruisers and they were GREAT for daytime, but they also leaked at night. My youngest son is allergic to Pampers, so we switched over to Huggies and he has NEVER had a diaper leak. We use the Huggies Supreme Natural Fit. I feel your pain though...who needs MORE laundry!

My daughter wears Pampers Baby Dry during the day and we ran into the same trouble much earlier on at night if she wore those. I switched to Huggies Nite Time at night and she's been dry ever since! They're sometimes a bit difficult to find, but well worth it.

I used Huggies (not the Supreme, just regular Huggies) and never had leaking problems. I'm not all that impressed with Pampers cruisers: my sister used them on her daughter, and she also had to change sheets regularly. And I think Huggies may be a bit less expensive than Pampers. Hope you start to see drier mornings!!!
