Start saving chicken bones etc. or visit your local meat shop for different kinds of bones. Boil the bones to disinfect them and do a "Dinosaur Dig" in a sandbox. The kids will love it.

A great place-Natural History Museum by USC. They have a children's discovery room where the kids can "dig" for bones and there are lots of real dinosaur skeletons on dislay. Perhaps you coud call them and have a scinetist take the kids on a behind the scenes tour of the museum. The grounds around the musuem are perfect for running around and having a picnic party. Good luck!

Have you ever checked out the Oriental Trading Company catalog? They have lots of themed parties, and I believe they have things for a dinosaur party. They are online with their catalog, and will put you on their mailing list. They have pinatas, cups, plates,tablecloths, napkins, and more. I learned about them when I was working with Cub Scouts. Good luck. You might try Party America if there is one in your area, also.

Hi M.;
If your son wanted a Dinosaur Party, be creative by drawing a different kinds of dinosaur the let them paste with a thick card board so that it could stand by itself behind the trees. If you don't have any trees or plants in your garden, them make one or draw some tall palm trees or any giant trees. I used to do that with my children's party. I raised four children. Each one of them wanted different theme for their party. You can be creative by doing it yourself and save you lot of money. I hope this one will help you. Good luck.
