Seeking a Recommendation for a Pediatrician

We are moving to the Newbury Park/Thousand Oaks area in about a month. I am in need of finding a pediatrician for my daughters aged 4 and 1 year. I'm hoping to find a doctor who stays up to date on the latest research, is taking new patients, the wait times aren't terrible, and is likeable! I know a ton to ask for! Anybody have any suggestions??
Thanks!

yes, Dr. Gerald Berkman ###-###-####. He is all of those things and more, he's located in Westlake Village. He has wonderful staff, I've never waited more than 10 minutes and ususally can get same day appointments when needed. He's sooo up to date on all research etch it's almost scary! Tell him Jordyn and Ty's mom sent you :)

I can't speak highly enough of my 10-year-old daughter's pediatrician, Dr. Donna Pachorek. She speaks directly to my daughter, takes as much time as needed, stays current, and has seen my daughter since day 1. She's in a practice with several other doctors (Dr. Peter Antall is also fabulous). The name of the practice is Conejo Children's Medical Group, they are in Newbury Park, and their number is ###-###-####.

If you don't mind coming out to Agoura, I recommend Agoura-West Valley Pediatrics. My kids usually either see Dr. Kathryn Stiles or Dr. Andrew McClaren, but the younger doctors seem really great as well. I usually stay away from Dr. Cosmer, just because he seems a bit of a stick in the mud, personality wise, but other than that, I don't think you can go wrong.

I highly recommend Los Robles Pediatric Group. My son sees both Dr. Chi (woman) and Dr. Hersch (man) and they are both wonderful. They've been seeing him since he was in the NICU when he was born and I can't say enough good things about them. In fact, Dr. Chi saved my little cousin's life when he was about 3 with her diagnosis- he had a very rare intestinal disorder that is life threatening and hard to diagnose.

Welcome to the area!! If you want to come to Camarillo, Dr. D'Andrea was recommended to me last year when I was new to the area. He was great with both my kids and we were only there for him to see one. I was told by my source that all of the pediatricians in that office are great. Pleasant Valley Pediatric by the Camarillo hospital.
Good luck with your search!!

I take my children (2 and 2 months) to Community Pediatrics Medical Group. They have an office in Westlake Village and one in Moorpark. I specifically see Dr. Greene and I love him!! He is very patient and both offices are clean and staffed really well. There are a total of 8 pediatricians in the group (2 females) and their response times are fantastic. You might want to see if your insurance excepts them and check them out. I have never had a bad experience yet.

I highly recommend Conejo Children's Medical Group in Newbury Park as well. My kids see Dr. Peter Antall, he is WONDERFUL! He is very up to date, takes his time, and answers all questions thoroughly. Dr. Pachorek & Dr. Rubin are great too. their number is ###-###-####.
