Seeking a Pediatrician in Plano

I agree with Tracy. Dr. Norman Minsky is THE BEST!!!

I've been going to Pediatric Place on 15th street (next to Medical Center of Plano) for 7 1/2 years. The main Dr is Dr. David Samara but he's very tall and scares my kids. We see Dr. Jennifer Darrow now and she's great with my 3 year old and 7 1/2 year old. There are 4 or 5 Dr's in there and 2 nurse practioners. I've been very pleased with the office staff too. We can always get in and there is very little wait time. Last time we arrived early and they took us back early too. They return calls quickly and no one has ever made me think my worries were silly. Their number is ###-###-#### (I have it memorized!).

My Pediatrician is actually in Allen at 75 and Allen Drive. Dr. Yuri Cook and Dr. Kim Smith and they are both AWESOME!! They have a story board that starts in the waiting area and each office has a page from the book written on the wall. Each room is decorated and there is a huge fish tank in the waiting area. Elizabeth lights up when we walk in beacause there are paper mechet(sp?) butterflies hanging from the ceiling. Good luck & congratulations!

I live in Plano and I take my four kids to DR. Christopher Crow. He was and is one of the top 100 doctors in the dallas area according to the D magazine. He is very good, friendly and has kids of his own. the kids have a little play area to play in the waiting area, he also has a dvd system they can watch short videos while you wait.The nusres are great they welcome you by your first name basis and you can get in pretty quickly also. He is a family Dr. so if you want to go to him you can he does everything he is great. he is at Medical center of Plano. if you are going to deliver there he will see you bundle of joy there in the hospitol. he is at 4001 W. 15 St. Suite 445 in plano (across from the Main hosptiol) ###-###-#### he is great and I highly recomend him and his partner Dr Sander Gothard.

We go to Scott Katz at Plano Pediatrics. They're located at Coit and 15th and we love Dr. Katz!

We've been going to Plano Pediatrics (Dr. McDonald) for 3 1/2 years. He and his staff have been wonderful from our pre-birth visit, at the hospital, and since then. ###-###-####. They are located by Medical Center of Plano at Coit and 15th.

You'll know when you visit if a dr. is good or not.
