So What Happened?

Thank you so much for the advice on pediatricians. I chose to go with Dr. Wiles of Wiles Pediatrics and my husband and I absolutely love him. He is wonderful, we needed to be seen on our 3rd day home from the hospital so he came into the office on Sunday to see my son. That meant a great deal to us. He is also very nice and makes me feel comfortable and like I am able to take my time. There is no rush with Dr. Wiles and I would happily recommend him to anyone who asked.

Like Kristin, my daughter also goes to Capitol Pediatrics. The BEST doctor there is Dr. Kubicki. He's a father himself and is truly a warm and caring physician. He's taken of my 3 y.o. since birth. He moved to the Wake Forest office so you'd have to go there if you wanted see him specifically. Good Luck!

B.,

Make an appt to meet Dr. Steven Wiles, of Wiles Pediatrics. He is located on Lake Boone Trail, across from Rex Hospital. His phone # is ###-###-####.....check out the reviews on this site about him.....He and his fantastic RN, Janet, practice alone and are available 24/7.....we have 3 kids and are very, very picky, and have tried several pediatricians in the area.....He is by far the cream of the crop of docs......He will spend hours with you if you need it! I have never been rushed from an appt with him. He usually has Monday or Wednesday "new family" get togethers to talk to him if you are looking for a new doc.

And your previous post about back pain.....please go and try a chiropractor....I recommend Gray Family Chiropractic.....two sisters who practice together near Millbrook and Falls of the Neuse Roads....our entire family goes to see Dr. Gray and Dr. Davis....we have even taken all 3 of our children to be adjusted a few days after delivery/birth. Ask them a zillion questions, too....Your OB and orthopeadic will probably disagree with you going to see a good Chiropractor, but more than likely, they are ignorant and/or misinformed about chiropractic medicine! Do a little research on the benefits of Chiropractic medicine for pregnancy and infants/children....you will probably be amazed with the facts you read!

Please feel free to email if you need anything or have questions!

My two children go to Capitol Pediatrics and Adolescence Their main office is off Computer Drive, they have a new office in Knightdale and mine go to the one behind Kroger in Wakefield on Forest Pines Drive. The number is ###-###-####. The doctors at this office remembered my oldest after being gone for almost 2 years. I hope this helps.

I would recommend highly Growing Child Pediatrics they have several locations throughout the triangle and also have pediatric urgent care which I have found helpful for night emergencies. Good Luck.

My first child was very sick for the first 9 months of his life and she was absolutely wonderful! I would never take either of my kids to see anyone else. :-)

I take my 4 month old son to Raleigh Pediatrics off Fall of Neuse Rd. The pediatricians that saw him in the hospital were good, but I particularily like Dr. "Chip."
