Seeking a New Doctor Who Is Open to Homeopathic Remedies in the Broomfield Area

Clarification...I am not looking for a Pediatrician, but a Family Practitioner! My husband and I are currently going to Broomfield Family Practice and we are very, very disappointed with the doctors who work there. We want to find a practice that specializes in Western medicine, however who is also open to homeopathic remedies when applicable. We take our children to Partners in Pediatrics, and we are very happy with them! We want to find a similar practice for ourselves!!!

Thank you for any advise you may share!

My former family practitioner has started a new practice in the Broomfield area with a holistic approach. I'm not sure of the contact information. Her name is Dr. Nancy Brown. She was formerly with Oasis Family Practice ###-###-####). They could give you her info.

If you feel like driving into south boulder, Mindful Pediatrics is there with Dr. Roy Steinbock, who is pretty amazing. His website is http://www.mindfulpediatrics.com. Good luck!

Hi C.,
I go to Arvada Pediatrics, the Broomfield branch. It is right off Lowell and 120th. I love the office and the doctors. I recommended it to another friend and she has been very happy with the switch. I have a 4 year old Son, a 5 1/2 year old daughter and a 3 months old son. My 3 month old son was also born early at 31 weeks. I was put in the hospital with strict bed rest at 24 weeks and was able to make it to 31 weeks. He was 3 lbs 2 ounces. He spent the first 6 weeks of his life in the N ICU but is home now and is doing great. He is up to 9 lbs now :). It is nice to hear stories of other preemies that are older now and doing so well. Good luck with everything.

Dr. Sona Shah at Indian Crest Pediatrics is Westminster is our doc. She is WONDERFUL. When I interviewed her when I was pregnant I asked about homeopathic remedies. She said that she is more than happy to ablige (sp?) unless the situation is serious and calls for something durastic. Although my daughter is only 7 mo. right now, and we have had no serious complications, we have had conversations about homeopathic remedies for things like teething, and slow weight gain, and she is all for it. I also have my daughter on an alternant vaccination schedule and that was absolutely no problem either. When I went to her 4 month appt. (when I had decided to change the vaccination schedule, I has all kinds of studies, and recomendations ready incaser she protested. She simply said, "Ok, what do you want to do? How often do you want to vaccinate? Are there any vaccinations you want to avoid?" WOW! She is very good at calming concerns (like the one I had about murcury in vaccination) and she is great with Teya!
Hope this helps!
