Seeking a Great Doctor!

I'm new to Texas and I already have a doctor(OB GYN) and this is my last child. The doc I has now is VERY dry and has NO personality, he seems good at what he does but... this also my first time with a male doctor. I kinda want someone that fun and sweet educated and great doctor and my the way if it is a woman (COOL!) . I just was wondering if I any had advice on the matter. I live near Westhemier and S. Gessner. THANK U!!!!!

What can I do next?

Hi,

I just moved from Houston to AZ. However, I really miss my OB/GYN she puts her heart in soul in her work. It's to bad all doctors are not like her. Dr. Dolar Patolia at St.Joseph Hospital she also works at times at The Womens Hospital but mainly out of St. Joseph. I would call St.Joseph Hospital Downtown get her number I can not find her bussines card anywhere. Good Luck!!

Hi M.,
I would recommend Dr. Amina Sayeed. She delivered both of my children, who are 2 and 7 years old. I still go to her for regular check ups as well. And recently she had a little girl. Her phone number is ###-###-####. Tell her S. Blyden referred you. Take care and God Bless!

Dr katherine Diase, she is at Southwest memorial. she is great and sweet as can be. ###-###-####

I love my Doctor, She is Dr. Purnima Rao, she is very sweet.

At kelsey Seybold, but there are two things that you will have to consider, they only deliver babies at the Womans Hospital (which I fully recommend, I loved the service there it was wonderful) and the second is that she may not be the one that actually deliver your baby, they have a system that the doctors from the KS Clinic are "on call" at the hospital and whoever is there will be the one. I did not like this idea at the begining but the day of the delivery I could not care less and the Doctor that delivered my baby was excellent and Dr. Rao talked to him all the time to see how I was doing, She saw me first at the clinic, sent me to the hospital and called the doctor to tell I was on my way and give him instructions.

Good luck!

I just switched OB/GYNs and my new one is great. It's Dr. Pamela Berens at UT Physicians in the medical center at 6410 Fannin. Her bedside manner is great and she really takes her time and listens to all of your concerns (never seems rushed). I would highly recommend her.

I recommend Dr Sharon McCloskey. She is a wonderful doctor and very sweet. She deivered my first and only child 13 months ago. I am confident that you will like her as well. She is located in the Memorial Herman Hospital (memorial city) on the 6th floor. You can go to the Memorial Herman website and do a physician search and read all about her. I am sure you will love her!!!!

Dr. Michelle Storey is a Memorial Herman Memorial City, literally down the street from you. She has delivered both of my children (one at 27 weeks and he is just perfect!)and some of my friend's children also. She is a mother herself so she know exactly what you are talking about when you describe things. (Never did understand going to a male OBGYN.)I highly highly highly recommend her. She has a new associate (new 3 years or so) can't remember her name, Patricia I think, but I saw her a few times and she was great also. The nurses are wonderful and I can't think of anything negative to say what so ever. Her number is ###-###-####. Good luck, G-D bless!

Women's Healthcare Associates on Voss and San Felipe. They have several locations but this one is the closest to ya. Dr. Franco you'd love!!...he's a blast and an awesome doctor . Sorry they have no females there. Give them a ring ###-###-####
