Good Morning! I am hoping you can help me find a reasonably priced doula who has experience with a waterbirth at home??

Contact birthways - as was already mentioned. They have reduced rates if you use a doula-in-training (which I did).

Malik Turley is fantastic. She also has a ton of experience with nursing, if you are a first time mom, and looking for guidance in that department.

I also recommend Birthways. My doula lives in Evanston, but I don't know if she has waterbirth experience. I know that she has attended homebirths though. Birthways has many doulas in their network so I'm sure you can find one to suit your needs. I don't remember the lower end of the scale as I wanted lots of experience, and the doula to have had her children naturally. Our doula is also in training to be a midwife and we paid 800. Hope that helps.

Peyton Callahan assisted my husband and I with our first birth. She is so awesome!! Her presence is very calming. She has an amazing energy about her. We were planning on having a waterbirth at home although we had to transport to the hospital 30 hours into labor because of complications.

I found being in the tub to be so relaxing! You're going to love it! Best wishes for a safe delivery.
